Jared and Carisah

I was so blessed to have a part in this beautiful wedding between Jared and Carisah Lee. Carisah and her mom Tammy and I have been friends for about 4 years and when I heard she was getting married I was more than excited to hear she wanted me to do the cupcakes. The wedding was in January and had a winter feel so we decided on snowflakes for the theme of the cupcakes.  The wedding was BEAUTIFUL, the bride was STUNNING and the love between those kids was undeniable. It was such a wonderful day! 

Kori from Recollect Photography sent me a few photos, I posted them below.  I was so busy that afternoon I didnt have time to take any of my own so I appreciate a few friends thought to do it for me.  Thank you Kori for the beautiful photos. It was really nice getting to know you and I hope we can work together again soon.

Keeping Calm ....

My friend Roberta bought me a journal that looks just like this and I laughed when I read what it said. "Keep Calm and have a cupcake" I now keep recipes and notes in my journal and I remember looking over and giggling to myself a few weeks ago when I was preparing 200 cupcakes for a friends wedding. I was running short on time but I kept telling myself to stay calm and focused and I would finish on time. I finished up, took a quick shower and made it to the church just in time to set up and take a few deep breaths before the wedding started. If your dieting like I am. I wouldn't recommend eating a cupcake every time your stressed out but staying calm is definitely the key.

Some people are just delightful ...

I was asked to bake a few dozen cupcakes for a good friend of mine (Mallory Hill) for a baby shower she was throwing for her sister-in-law. I really enjoy baking for Mallory and her mother because both are such lovely people. I had so much fun visiting her blog to see all the little extra added details that made the baby shower just that much cuter. She really is so creative! =) Thanks for the order Mal It's ALWAYS a pleasure baking for you.
